Decades of experience
Helping employers understand what is at stake—before a compliance gap becomes a costly problem.
For decades, Debbie Kaglear has provided insurance and employee-benefits guidance to small businesses, large organizations and the professionals who serve them. That experience revealed a persistent concern: employers may offer valuable benefits while remaining unaware of the ACA, IRS, payroll and plan-document responsibilities operating behind them.
That knowledge gap can expose an organization to disruptive notices, correction work, potential penalties and avoidable expense. Debbie’s commitment through Nexus125™ is to provide timely, practical education that helps employers recognize risk, ask better questions and strengthen their compliance-readiness before problems escalate.
As Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Agency Principal of Dedicated Insurance Services, Debbie has led the development of insurance solutions for individuals, families, employers and community organizations. Her leadership experience includes employer-benefits strategy, agency operations, team development, broker relationships and benefits education.
Her employer-benefits experience includes major medical coverage, Section 125 cafeteria plans, voluntary benefits, disability, life, dental and vision. She has worked with employers and their employees to support enrollment operations, benefits communication and documentation practices—helping teams recognize how plan decisions connect to payroll, workforce strategy and compliance responsibilities.
Debbie’s work in ACA and IRS compliance is education- and readiness-focused. She helps organizations understand employer-responsibility concepts, identify documentation gaps, recognize common IRS correspondence and build stronger processes for coordinating with plan administrators, payroll providers, tax professionals and benefits counsel.
“Benefits should not feel disconnected from the people they are meant to serve—or from the HR systems responsible for making them work.”
